Kuwait Inflation Rate – November 2023 Overview
Reuters – In November 2023, Kuwait inflation rate held steady at 3.8%, mirroring the rate from the month before. The prices for restaurant & hotel services, housing, communication, and transportation remained consistent at 3.5%, 3.1%, 3.1%, and 3% respectively. Similarly, the rates for health and education were unchanged at 2.4% and 0.7%.
However, there was a slight increase in inflation for furnishings, equipment & household maintenance, rising to 3% from 2.8%. Food inflation also saw a slight rise, reaching 5.8% in November, up from 5.7% in October. On a month-to-month basis, there was a 0.2% increase in consumer prices, following a 0.4% rise in the previous month.
