The New Zealand dollar (NZD) climbed to approximately $0.606 (NZD/USD), marking its second consecutive recovery day. New Zealand’s Rate Cut Signals a Policy Shift
Last week, the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) made a significant move by lowering its official cash rate to 5.25%, the first reduction since March 2020. This decision hints at the possibility of more cuts in the near future, signaling a strategic policy shift to support economic growth.
