Unemployment in Japan – December-26-2023
In November 2023, Japan’s jobless rate was 2.5%. It didn’t change from the month before. This matched what people predicted. It was the lowest since January. The number of people with jobs went up by 560,000. It reached 67.8 million. This was faster than the increase in the number of jobless people. They went up by 40,000 to 1.69 million. The ratio of jobs to applications was 1.28. This means there were 128 jobs for every 100 people looking for work.
